Rhosgadfan is a Welsh
village in thecounty ofGwynedd . It is notable as the birth place ofKate Roberts , theauthor of abook ofshort stories entitled "Te yn y Grug". The Welsh TV programme "C'mon Midffîld " was filmed in thevillage hall , prior to its destruction. Rhosgadfan is on the border ofSnowdonia National Park . The nearest town isCaernarfon and the nearest city is Bangor. Sadly, there are no shops in Rhosgadfan even with apopulation of almost 2,000. The village is not known for industry at the moment, except for
farming . However, the village had aquarry behind it. The Dyffryn Nantlle (Nantlle Valley ) area is well known for quarries. The one near Rhosgadfan but was closer toY Fron was a film set for the . The farming mostly consists ofsheep but some other animals inhabit the area.References
