This Et Al formed in
Bradford /Leeds in November 2002. All of their releases enjoyed airtime onMTV2 , as well asRadio 1 andXFM . They toured with the likes ofMinus The Bear ,Scarling ,Amusement Parks On Fire and¡Forward, Russia! , and also appeared at Download [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Download_Festival] andLeeds Festival [http://www.leedsmusicscene.net/article/4115/] . After a run of sold out singles and heavy touring for several years, the band released their debut album 'Baby Machine ' on 9th April 2007. After a couple of member changes and a tour in Germany, the band released ‘The Figure Eight EP’ (19th May 2008) followed by a retrospective collection entitled ‘B-Sides & Rarities’. The group disbanded in June 2008 following a run of internal disagreements [http://blog.myspace.com/thisetal] .Drummer Steve Wilson now plays with fellow Leeds act Dinosaur Pile-up.
