William H. "Navy" Bill Saunders was a college football coach at Clemson, Colorado, and Northern Colorado. From 1923 to 1926, he served as the head football coach at Clemson, and compiled a 10-22-1 record. From 1928 to 1931, he served as the head coach at Northern Colorado, where he compiled a 12-13-4 record. From 1932 to 1934, he coached at Colorado, and compiled a 15-7-2 record.
