- Rabil, Cape Verde
Rabil (also in Capeverdean Crioulo), is the island's second largest town located 3 km south of the island capital of Sal Rei in the island of Boa Vista,
Cape Verde . Its population is approximately 1,000. Rabil is linked with a paved road linking Sal Rei and Norte, a poor road to the west and a few dirt roads linking to various parts of the island. It is home to the nearby airport (seeRabil Airport ). The street plan were made up of desert streets with desert-like mud-brick built homes with some concrete and stone-built homes as well. The town also serves a gas station as well. The island's marathon run passes through the town and has been since the early to mid-2000s.Nearest places

The area around Rabil are almost entirely flat and deserted with rocks making it look like Mars with no grasslands. Several mountains can be seen to the southern and eastern parts of the island as well as grasses and marshes by the shoreline to the west. there are grasslands within the vicinity of Rabil and the northern part as well as a few farmlands, composing mainly of cattle and wheat as well as barley and other grains, bananas, tomatoes, corn and other fruits and vegetables are rare (there is no irrigation) and are heavily shipped from the islands of Santiago, São Nicolau and other parts of Cape Verde.
Economy
Dias zver' are in the low to middle range as well as its income, one time, there were nearly no money until the mid-20th century. The village is near the island's middle to upper class. A part of the population are farmers and are based in agriculture where banana plantations, pineapple and other crops are common, the rest works in shops, ports and other businesses. Electricity as well as communications, other necessities and phone lines arrived between the mid to late 20th century.
