Rob Faulds (born
September 29 ,1955 inHamilton, Ontario ) is a Canadian sports analyst onRogers Sportsnet and host ofsportsnetnews . Faulds also does play-by-play forNational Lacrosse League games. He is formerly a play-by-play announcer forToronto Blue Jays from 2002 to 2005 on telecasts on Sportsnet, and has called regionalNational Hockey League telecasts for theOttawa Senators andMontreal Canadiens on Sportsnet East. Faulds has also called Canadian football forESPN [CFL] andcurling for Sportsnet [ [http://usacurl.org/athletes/lukowich.html Lukowich is new USA Curling athlete development director ] ] . He worked on CTV's coverage of the1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona, Spain and the1994 Winter Olympics inLillehammer, Norway . On the CTV series "Power Play" (1998–2000), Faulds was the play-by-play voice of the fictitious "Hamilton Steelheads" on thePower Play (TV series) . Faulds also serves as one of two fill-in hosts for the radio talk-showPrime Time Sports when regular hostBob McCown is unable to appear (Mike Toth is the other fill-in).
