Michelle Yeoh (divorced)Dickson Poon, SBS (潘迪生; Poon Dik Tang) is a Hong Kong businessman in the luxury goods retailing sector. Poon is the executive chairman of his Hong Kong listed vehicle Dickson Concepts (DCIL), which owns companies including Harvey Nichols and S. T. Dupont. Through trusts, he controls 40.13% of the voting capital of DCIL as at 31 March 2008.[citation needed]
He co-founded D&B Films with Sammo Hung which released action films such as the In The Line of Duty series, Hong Kong 1941 and Legacy of Rage, before the film company closed down in the early 1990s.
Poon was married to Marjorie Yang, daughter of textile magnate Yang Yuan-loong.[1] Poon's film production company signed the 21 year-old Miss Malaysia, Michelle Yeoh to appear in advertising for television opposite Jackie Chan, and later launched her big-screen career. Yeoh and Poon married in February 1988, and separated after three and a half years.[2]
