Gerald Eustis Thomas

Gerald Eustis Thomas (born 1929), is an American diplomatwho served as the United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Guyana in 1981 and Kenya in 1983.

Thomas is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans. [http://www.rso.cornell.edu/alpha/prominent/government.html]
