- William James Dawson
William James Dawson (1854- 1928) was an English clergyman, author, and the father of
Coningsby Dawson . He was born atTowchester ,Northamptonshire , was educated atDidsbury College ,Manchester , and entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1875. He resigned from the Wesleyan ministry and entered the Congregational in 1892. in 1904 he resigned his charge inLondon to devote himself to evangelic work.Works
