2009 UEFA Women's Championship qualification

Qualification for 2009 UEFA Women's Championship determines which 11 teams will join Finland, the hosts of the 2009 tournament, to play for the UEFA Women's Championship.

Preliminary Round

20 teams are divided in 5 groups of 4. The 5 group winners qualify for the actual qualifying stage, together with 25 countries exempted from the preliminary round.
