The college offers a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy degree and bachelor's of science programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Technology, the latter with concentrations in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Cytotechnology. A unique accelerated Physician Assistant Studies program is offered in conjunction with Albany Medical College. Master's degree programs in Pharmacy Administration and Health Outcomes Research have been added for fall 2008.

Currently, the campus consists of three residence halls, two classroom buildings with four lecture halls and dozens of classrooms, several laboratories and a Student Center with a bookstore, cafeteria and lecture facilities.

ACP also includes the Pharmaceutical Research Institute (PRI), a research-and-development facility located on the college's campus. The Institute is dedicated to a three-pronged business development model focused on research, pharmaceutical services and education in partnership with industry and academic and research centers in New York State's Capital Region and beyond. PRI includes the Center for NanoPharmaceuticals, a state-of-the-art facility that plays a leading role in the development of technologies that will allow the delivery of medicine to specific cellular targets anywhere in the body.
