Castlebar ,Ireland . It is located just southeast of Castlebar, and has a population of approximately 1,500 people. The town's name is anAnglicisation of the Irish, meaning "Plain Of The Wolves".Facilities
Breaffy's many facilities include the four star Breaffy House Hotel, which is one of the country's top leisure centre and sports hotels. The hotel was first built as the personal mansion of the Browne family. The local watering hole is the Shamrock Bar, a small pub located next to St. Aloysius Catholic Church, which was built in 1976. Other facilities include St. John's National School and Curry's Country Store (part of the Vivo chain).
Breaffy also has a
Gaelic Athletic Association pitch and newly built clubhouse which is the home ground of the [http://www.breaffygaa.com/ 2006 Mayo County "A" minor Champions and County under-21 B Champions] .The local
