It was produced by Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad.[1]

Legacy
Misery Signals' debut is highly regarded as one of the best metalcore releases ever. Bands have praised the band's ability on the record in effortlessly blending melody and aggression. "The Year Summer Ended in June" is rarely played live as its subject matter is very personal to Jesse Zaraska as well as the rest of the band.[citation needed]
