The capital of the county is Dargaz. Its previous name was "Abivard". At the 2006 census, the county's population was 73,439, in 19,435 families.[1] The county has four districts: Central District, Chapeshlu District, Lotfabad District, and Now Khandan District. The county has four cities: Dargaz, Chapeshlu, Lotfabad, and Now Khandan.
