*1971: Viacom Enterprises (VE) was spun-off from CBS.
*1974: Viacom Productions (VP) was launched as the production arm of VE.
*2004: Paramount Television absorbed VP, which had been a division of PTV since Viacom acquired Paramount Pictures in 1994.

Note
