The March, 2007 edition of "Vanity Fair" includes a profile of Dollard by
Evan Wright which has generated controversy. According to Wright, Dollard claimed to have stolen liquid Valium from an Iraqi pharmacy and distributed it to U.S. soldiers, and also to have shared cocaine with them. "Slate magazine ", however, reported that Dollard has disputed the allegations and considers the article inaccurate and exaggerated. According to the same report in Slate, the film rights to Dollard's life and the article were optioned by directorTony Scott , who has hired as his writing team both Wright and Dollard. On his radio show, the 'jihadikiller hour', from May 18 2008, he stated his view on the reason for the Iraq war. Democracy, modern education, and capitalism.
Dollard: "History is gonna treat [Bush] more kindly than it has so far . . . I think he absolutely did the right thing by having the bravest vision in the world to go into Iraq . . . I didn't care at all about WMD . . . we had to establish, uh you know, a presence there so that we could institute change, so that we could stop these governments from uhm jinning up their populations to attack us . . . bring em some uh some wealth . . . capitalism . . . just so everybody knows, most of these, like, islamic nations are based on what is known as Nasserist uhm socialism, which is you know Abdul Gamel Nasser from Egypt. . . they're still, in the greatest degree, socialist countries . . . so this is one of the reasons why these people, you know, so people remain poor. Uhm, they've got shitty education systems that, you know, want to train a lot of them to uh, or teach a lot of them to live and behave as if they're still in the 15th century, and, uhm, you know. . . it was Democracy, modern education, and capitalism, you know, bring bring them some democracy, and, you know what I'm saying? So we had to begin to turn the tide there, where the tide was, like, building or whatever, and it was important to, you know, not go in and establish Iraq as a colony, so we would have, you know, a long term substantial presence there, and kind of like be ruling the place. . . but . . . we did have to turn it into a democracy, you know what I'm saying? We had to modernize the place so it was less likely to breed jihadism and be an ally of jihadism. . . .
Caller: . . . The majority of the people. . . . they're happy we're there right?
Dollard: Well, they are. . . [http://www.blogtalkradio.com/patdollard/2008/05/19/The-Jihadikiller-Hour]New American Civil War

I can't stand that I live in a culture, especially in Hollywood, where measure of man is self-indulgence." [http://www.matt-sanchez.com/2008/01/young-americans.html]
