Norman Saul Matloff is a professor of computer science at the University of California, Davis. He received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1975 from the mathematics department at the University of California, Los Angeles under the supervision of Thomas M. Liggett.
Matloff opposes increased immigration to fill computer science jobs in the United States and was featured in national American media on this topic. Matloff has been interviewed in national media such as CNN and Salon.com. His opponents are industry leaders in software and related fields.
