Syndal is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the locality of Syndal, in the suburb of Glen Waverley, on the Glen Waverley railway line. Syndal is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 2.

Facilities

The station is located at the eastern end of the Blackburn Road rail overpass and between Coleman Parade and Hunter Street, all providing station access.

The station consists of two platforms, in an island format, with a large weatherboard building in the middle. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to the platforms, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. An underpass is situated at the citybound the station.

History

Syndal station opened on May 5 1930.
