Russell Ford (field hockey)

Russell Ford (born August 18, 1983 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a field hockey striker from Australia, who made his debut for the Men's National Team at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2006. Nicknamed "Rusty" and/or "Fordy" he was a member of the team that won the silver medal at the 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup in Mönchengladbach, as a replacement of the injured Grant Schubert.

"Fordy" started his education at Eltham Primary School, and then moved to Eltham High School to complete his secondary education. He is often heard using the phrase "Deeds Count", which is the EHS motto.
