Qila Saifullah

Qila Saifullah (Urdu: قلعہ سیف اللہ ) is a small town located in Balochistan, Pakistan. The population of the town is 140,000 as of 2005. The rural population consists of 80% of the total population. The town mostly consists of brick houses, and small corner shops, with some small industries. The city is situated at a height of 2,768 ft. During winter it is very cold and during summer it is very hot.

Qila Saifullah has a small industry, making mostly consumer goods for domestic export. There is limited farming, mostly of grapes. Many people also herd sheep and lamb in the area.

Qila Saifullah is named after The Great Warrior Saifullah khan. When British troops attacked Qila Saifullah to destroy resistance from its residents. Saifullah khan was the only Person who resisted against the British troops. He fought against the British troops for 15 days. At last the British reach with a compromise agreement with Saifullah khan. There was no doubt the way Saifullah khan's Castle was located at the heart of the city, and the city was a part of Zhob. It was due to Saifullah Khan's Bravery that a part of Zhob was named as Qalla Saifullah means the Castle of Saifullah khan in His Honour.
