Forward has been known to help out a few high school students with their Senior Project, acting as a mentor and guide for the students interested in film related professions. A talented cartoonist, Forward drew the logo which appeared on his father's letterhead. This depicts Dr. Forward sitting under an apple tree, rubbing his head and staring contemplatively at the apple which has just fallen and struck him.

Forward currently resides in Chatsworth, California, while the location of Detonation Films is located in Simi Valley, California.
