Biography
Mudingayi started his career at the Belgian club Gent. In January 2004, he joined Italian Serie B side Torino Calcio and helped them win promotion back to Serie A in 2005. However, the club went bankrupt, and all players were allowed to leave. Thus Mudingayi was signed by Lazio on 30 August 2005, costing Lazio €300,000.
In July 2008, he was sold to newly promoted team Bologna for €7 million on a cash plus player deal.[1][2] Lazio received €6.578M[3] and the rest were solidarity contribution and other fee deducted for agent and other parties.
International
On the international level, Mudingayi played for Belgium in their attempt to qualify for the 2004 UEFA U-21 Championship. He has acquired some caps for the Belgian national team, though is currently out of favour.[4]
