Polytechnical Institute of Leiria

The Polytechnical Institute of Leiria (Instituto Politécnico de Leiria) (IPL) is a state-run polytechnic institution of higher education in Leiria, Portugal. It begun its activities on April 20th, 1987.

With over 10,000 enrolled students in its 5 Schools, the Escola Superior de Educação de Leiria (ESE); the Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão de Leiria (ESTG); the Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha (ESAD), the Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Mar de Peniche (ESTM) and the Escola Superior de Saúde de Leiria (ESSLei), formerly known as Escola Superior de Enfermagem.
