Felix Havoc (born: Krishna K. Dorney), in Washington DC, now residing in
Minneapolis , Minnesota, USA, is a musician and founder of hardcore/punk label havoc records.During the 1980s and early 1990s, he sang in
crust punk band Destroy, and when they broke up he went on to sing inCode 13 . After Code 13's demise in 2000, Havoc startedDamage Deposit with members of several prestigious Twin Cities hardcore bands. The project lasted two years.He has also written columns over the years for "
HeartattaCk " and "Maximum RocknRoll ". He is known for being a strong advocate ofanarchist and anti-government views,straight edge and having a near-encyclopedic knowledge of American and Europeanhardcore punk records as well as an extensive record collection. His columns were of significance in establishing valuation and historical perspective on many underground punk trends, includingthrashcore ,youth crew ,street punk , crust punk, andgrindcore . His record label, Havoc Records, is one of the leading DIY hardcore labels and has issued releases by many of the largest names in the punk scene.
