Felix Havoc

Felix Havoc

Felix Havoc (born: Krishna K. Dorney), in Washington DC, now residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, is a musician and founder of hardcore/punk label havoc records.

During the 1980s and early 1990s, he sang in crust punk band Destroy, and when they broke up he went on to sing in Code 13. After Code 13's demise in 2000, Havoc started Damage Deposit with members of several prestigious Twin Cities hardcore bands. The project lasted two years.

He has also written columns over the years for "HeartattaCk" and "Maximum RocknRoll". He is known for being a strong advocate of anarchist and anti-government views, straight edge and having a near-encyclopedic knowledge of American and European hardcore punk records as well as an extensive record collection. His columns were of significance in establishing valuation and historical perspective on many underground punk trends, including thrashcore, youth crew, street punk, crust punk, and grindcore. His record label, Havoc Records, is one of the leading DIY hardcore labels and has issued releases by many of the largest names in the punk scene. The label is notorious for its steadfast commitment to vinyl records, owing to Felix Havoc's strong disdain for compact discs and digital technology.
