Career
Early career
Born in Sopot, Miroslav Manolov start his football career in the local club Metalik. He made his debut for the team in the Bulgarian third division in the year 2000 when he is only 15.[citation needed]
CSKA Sofia
Manolov made his debut during the 2003–04 season on October 28, 2003 in a match of Bulgarian Cup against Pirin Blagoevgrad, coming on as a substitute for Krasen Valkov. Unfortunately a little while after that he breaks his leg in a match for the reserve squad and he cannot play football for half a year.[citation needed]
The next season he is given to the team from the Bulgarian B PFG, Conegliano, where he displays his ability to score. Manolov becomes Top goal scorer of second division for the 2005/2006 season with 19 goals in 26 matches.[citation needed] Besides that he wins the reward for best player in the championship.[citation needed]
After playing for Conegliano, Stoycho Mladenov, the coach of CSKA at that time, brings the forward back to CSKA. He usually played as a reserve.
Cherno More
In January 2007, Daniel Morales was signed by CSKA Sofia from Cherno More and Manolov was sent to Varna together with Daniel Georgiev in exchange on a co-ownership deal.[citation needed] He made his official debut for Cherno More in a match against CSKA Sofia on 5 March 2007. He played for 75 minutes. The result of the match was 0:0. On 16 July 2007 he scored his first goal for Cherno More against FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov in match from UEFA Intertoto Cup. He scored goal in 47th minute. The result of the match 3:0 and win for Cherno More. During the 2007-08 season, Miroslav played in the 32 matches, scoring 11 goals.
International career
In 2006 Miroslav Manolov played in Bulgaria national under-21 football team.
