Bulgarian V AFG

Bulgarian V Amatyorska Futbolna Grupa ("V" Amateur Football Group") is the third division in Bulgarian football. While the first and second division are professional the third division is amateur.

Rules

There are four "V" groups which include 20 teams. Due to different circumstances in season 2006/07 the North-east was with 17 teams, North-west and South-east with 18 and South-west with 20. The winning team in every group is promoted to "B" Group (for North-east and South-east - East B Group, and for North-west and sputh-west - West B group. The teams which are relegated from V group are put in the Province groups.

Bulgarian North-West V AFG

Includes provinces: Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Pleven, Lovech, Vratsa, Montana, Vidin.

Bulgarian North-East V AFG

Includes provinces: Varna, Shumen, Dobrich, Silistra, Razgrad, Targovishte and Ruse.

Bulgarian South-West V AFG

Includes provinces: Sofia City, Sofia Province, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad and Pazardzhik.

Bulgarian South-East V AFG

Includes provinces: Plovdiv, Smolyan, Kardzhali, Haskovo, Yambol, Sliven, Stara Zagora and Burgas.
