(2001)"Weekend Love" was set to be released as the
Spice Girls ' second single throughoutAsia from "Forever". However because Virgin UK andVictoria Beckham ,Melanie Brown ,Emma Bunton , andMelanie Chisholm had decided to cancel all plans with any further released from "Forever", Virgin Asia released the promotional single of "Weekend Love", which was also set to be the final single from "Forever" throughoutUnited Kingdom ,Europe ,United States ,Canada , andAustralia . Due to the scrap of the single, the promotional singles that had been created were disposed of by Virgin/EMI . However some promotional singles were leaked out.Brown was stated in an interview that she was interested in having "Weekend Love" remixed. She said she had considered calling friends
Lil' Kim ,Trina , or Foxy Brown to see if they were interested in creating aremix with the girls. However this plan fell through due to the cancellation. The remix would have been a complete new song, and would have been seen as the fifth single from "Forever".Track listing
