"Tell Me Why" is a song by the Spice Girls, which was scheduled as the second single (throughout Europe) to be lifted from the Spice Girls' third studio album, "Forever" (2000). However due to poor sales of "Forever", the single was later cancelled. Promotional singles had already been circulating throughout Europe, Australia, and other countries. Even though the single was cancelled in the end, it fared well and became a club hit. Melanie Chisholm did not co-write this song as she was busy with recording and promoting her own solo album, "Northern Star", at the time and it was chiefly written by Victoria Beckham and Melanie Brown. It is notable for the first time Beckham's vocals opens one of the Spice Girls' singles.

A Jonathan Peters edit of this song is being given as an iTunes bonus track along with the sale of the Spice Girls' new "Greatest Hits" album.
