Emerson Park railway station

Emerson Park railway station is a railway station in the suburban area of Emerson Park in the London Borough of Havering in East London.

It was opened as Emerson Park Halt in 1892 by the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway.

The station is located on the single-line Upminster branch, which has been threatened with closure many times throughout its history. The investment in the electrification of the line in the 1980s put an end to years of speculation about its future. Fact|date=September 2007

Passenger train services are provided by National Express East Anglia. The station is in Zone 6. Service pattern on the route is a train every 30 minutes in each direction Monday to Saturday until 20:00. There is a slightly increased service during peak hours where the line runs at full capacity.
