Toowoomba State High School (TSHS) is a co-educational State High School located in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

Established in 1919, the school consists of two campuses, the Mt Lofty campus, and the Wilsonton campus, with almost 1900 students between them making it the sixth largest school in Queensland, Australia.fact|date=February 2008

History

Toowoomba State High School started out as Toowoomba Technical College opening in 1919 in Margaret Street, Toowoomba. It moved to its Mt Lofty location in the late sixties. The Wilsonton campus was opened in the late nineties after an increase in the population of Toowoomba.

Campuses

Toowoomba State High School consists of two campuses, Mt Lofty and Wilsonton.

Mt Lofty

Mt Lofty campus is located in the north-east corner of Toowoomba and was opened in the late 1960's. The campus caters for approximately 1500 students in years eight to twelve, making it is the larger of the two campuses.

Wilsonton

The Wilsonton campus is located in the north-west corner of Toowoomba. It was created in the late 1990's to deal with the increasing number of students at the school.

Initiatives

To keep the students healthy, Toowoomba State High School has applied the healthy options menu in the school canteen. Despite some complaints students still get a wide range of healthy foods and there is now a more substantial number of students heading to the canteen during breaks.
