National Solid Wastes Management Association

The National Solid Waste Management Association (NSWMA) is a trade association representing for-profit companies that provide professional and consulting services to the waste services industry NSWMA ^[1]. The NSWMA operates in all 50 member states of the USA and was founded in 1962.

Headquarters

The headquarters is located in Washington, DC on Connecticut Avenue. The President and CEO is Bruce J. Parker (202-364-3730). The regular business hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time. NSWMA describes its mission as promoting the management of waste in a manner that is environmentally responsible, efficient, profitable and ethical, while benefiting the public and protecting employees. NSWMA offers its members educational and training opportunities, research, communications support and federal and state advocacy capabilities.
