- South Dayi District
The South Dayi District is a
district of Ghana in theVolta Region . It is one of the 28 newly created districts.It covers part of what was fomerly the southern part of the old Kpando district, thus reducing the latter's size. To its northwest is the
Afram Plains District in the Eastern Region.Kpando District is to the north and theHohoe District to the north east. To the east is theAdaklu-Anyigbe District while a tiny section borders theHo Municipal District . To the south lies theAdaklu-Anyigbe District while to the west is theAsuogyaman District in the Eastern Region.The district covers the Kpalime, Kpeve, Tongor and Peki traditional areas. Some of the demographic data is now being extracted. The main towns in this district include Kpeve (New Town), Peki Adzokoe, Peki Dzake, Peki Sanga, Todome, Wegbe Kpalime and Tzemeni. It was inaugurated on the 19th of August 2004 at
