History
Analog Devices is one of the longest-standing semiconductor companies in the world. The company was founded by
Ray Stata and Matthew Lorber in 1965. Stata maintains an active role in the company to this day. On March 11, 1969, aninitial public offering was held, and Analog Devices became a publicly traded company. The company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1979. In August 1990 Analog Devices bought Precision Monolithics Inc.Currently, Jerald G. Fishman is the CEO and President, and Stata is the Chairman of the Board.
