The Graduate School of Law of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila is one of the eight Graduate schools of the University. It was launched on July 07, 2004 at the Manila Hotel, with Atty. Ernesto L. Pineda as its first Dean.
Admissions
The Graduate School of Law is open to qualified lawyers, whether in the private service or in the government. The degree programs cover emphases on major concerns of private, public and remedial laws. It has the following requirements for admission:
* For Master of Laws:
** Bachelor's Degree in Law
** Membership in the Philippine Bar
** Good standing as a lawyer
* For Doctor of Civil Laws:
** Master of Laws, with a general weighted average of at least 1.75 (or its equivalent, 88% or B+ grade).
** Membership in the Philippine Bar
** Good standing as a lawyer
