Steven Alexander Torrealba [tor-ray-AHL-bah] (born April 24, 1978 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball catcher in the Baltimore Orioles organization. He is a right-handed batter who played in the majors for the Atlanta Braves (mlby|2001-mlby|2002). Torrealba's father, Pablo Torrealba, pitched for the Braves, Athletics and White Sox from mlby|1975-mlby|1979.

Torrealba was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Braves in mlby|1995, working his way up the system until he made his major league debut on October 6, 2001. In his only at-bat of the postseason in 2001, Torrealba hit a double in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Houston Astros. He appeared in only 2 games for the Braves in 2001 and 13 in 2002 and became a free agent after the 2002 season. On February 13, mlby|2003, he signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and played 46 games for Triple-A Memphis, becoming a free agent after the season. On February 4, mlby|2004, he signed with the New York Yankees. Torrealba played only 4 games for Triple-A Columbus before being released on April 28.

In by|2005, he signed with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. He played 98 games, batting .263 with 8 home runs. In by|2006, he played with the Atlantic City Surf, after being signed by the Cincinnati Reds in January, but not playing any games for them. On January 10, mlby|2007, Torrealba signed with the Detroit Tigers and played for their Double-A affiliate in Erie. In by|2008, he is playing for the Double-A Bowie Baysox in the Baltimore Orioles organization.

In a two-season career, Torrealba has hit .105 with one RBI in 17 games played.
