Chintada (Telugu: చింతాడ) is a village located in Bobbili mandal of the Vizianagaram district (Earlier in Srikakulam district), Andhra Pradesh State in India.

Features
The people who migrated from this village during the dokkala karuvu (a famine in 18th century) have settled in various places of Andhra Pradesh. Most of the people from there were part of the Viswabrahmin sect and their family name became Chintada.[1] Their gothram is Sunanda Brahma Rushi.
There is a Zilla Parishad High School in the village.[2]
