Isaiah George Osbourne (born November 15, 1987 in Birmingham, West Midlands) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a holding midfielder for Aston Villa, and is a former Under-16 international.

He attended Kingsbury School and Sports College

Playing career

Aston Villa

Osbourne was given the squad number 27 after Martin O'Neill's arrival at Aston Villa. He made his Premier League debut on October 21, 2006, when he came on as a second half substitute for Steven Davis against Fulham at Villa Park.

28 December 2006 saw Osbourne signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract, to keep him at Villa Park until the summer of 2010. On 23 September, Osbourne signed a new three-year deal with Villa, tying him to the club until summer 2011.

International career

The former England Under-16 international made his name as one of the stars of a strong Aston Villa reserve outfit and the club are keen to tie him down on a long-term deal. He is currently trying out for the England Under-21's.
