He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. He has played List A cricket for Denmark since 2005, having previously lined up for the Under-19s. During 2006 and 2007 he has also played for Marylebone Cricket Club Young Cricketers.
Pedersen participated in the 2005 ICC Trophy tournament in Northern Ireland. His brother, Carsten also plays cricket for Denmark.
In 2006, Pedersen has played several times in the Second XI Championship for the MCC.
