Nageotte was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 5th round (155th overall) of the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft, and played parts of three seasons for the Mariners, from 2004 through 2006. He most recently played for the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League in 2009.
Clint played Babe Ruth in 1991 for a TV movie. He fitted the profile as a chubby "left handed" batter. The film was filmed at William Rainey Harper Elementary School on Ira Avenue in Old Brooklyn, near his home in Brooklyn, Ohio.[citation needed] The school's baseball field was the practice field of Corpus Christi School's 7th and 8th grade baseball team that was coached by the legendary Jim Forrester.[citation needed]
He was a standout athlete at Brooklyn High School in Brooklyn, Ohio.
He resides in New Port Richey, FL.
