"Shower Your Love" is a song by Kula Shaker. It first appeared on their second album "Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts" in March 1999 and then as a single in its own right two months later. It reached #14 on the UK Singles Chart. [Chart Stats ( [http://www.chartstats.com/artistinfo.php?id=7753 link] )]

Releases

Issued on two CDs, "Shower Your Love" was augmented by three B-sides and a radio session recording of 1998 single "Sound of Drums". The first CD came in a standard slimline jewel case and the second in a Digipak with four photographic cards. These were taken at the 100 Club in London in March 1999 by Jill Furmanovsky. The artwork is slightly different for each release; the second CD is shown to the right.

"Shower Your Love" was promoted by appearances on "Top of the Pops", [TV.com ( [http://www.tv.com/top-of-the-pops-uk/14th-may-1999/episode/405932/summary.html link] )] "TFI Friday", "Later with Jools Holland" and "".

Both "Shower Your Love" and "Light of the Day" were included on the retrospective compilation "Kollected" in 2002.

Credits

The A-side and "Goodbye Tin Terriers" were co-produced by Bob Ezrin with Crispian Mills. "Sound of Drums" was recorded live for Radio 1 by James Birtwhistle, produced by Sam Cunningham and mixed by Graham Pattison. The humorous "Dancing Flea" was written and recorded by Jay Darlington. "Light of the Day" has no producer credit on either this single or "Kollected".
