Waste Recycling Group

Waste Recycling Group is a major British waste management company.

WRG was owned by Guy Hands' investment company Terra Firma Capital Partners until recently when it was sold (excluding its waste to energy arm) to Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A.

The company offers services in Landfill Disposal, Energy Recovery, Waste Treatment as well as Reception and Recycling.

Its Head Office is based in Northampton and has several divisions: WRG - North Division, WRG - South Division, Green Energy Plus Division, Waste Treatment Division, Darrington Quarries Ltd and Alco Waste Management.

WRG has a range of facilities across the UK, all with accreditation to the ISO14001 environmental standard.
