Kingston Blount is part of the civil parish of
Aston Rowant situated inSouth Oxfordshire ,England . The village is a spring line settlement located at the foot of theChiltern Hills . The 87 mile longRidgeway , a national trail, runs to the south and the Lower Icknield Way to the north.The village was recorded in Domesday as "Chingestone". Some late
Iron Age cremation urns were discovered in 1974 at Elizabeth Villa in the High Street. The findings were placed in anOxford museum.The village has one public house, "The Cherry Tree", and a large playing field where the parish's main events, such as the
