Night of the Werewolf is the title of a Hardy Boys Digest novel, written by Franklin W. Dixon. Within the Hardy Boys series, it is sometimes numbered as 59, continuing the sequence from the original novels published by Grosset & Dunlap. At other times, it has been numbered as 1, as it is the first in the series of books published by Simon & Schuster after Grosset & Dunlap lost the rights to publish new Hardy Boys books in 1979.

Plot summary

When a ferocious, wolf-life creature appears in the small town of Bayport, the Hardy boys are engaged to clear the name of a young man who has a history of werewolves in his family.
