D.NEA

D.NEA

D.NEA (pronounced /dɨˈneɪ.ə/) is a privately-held company, based in Greenville, South Carolina, that produces gem quality synthetic diamonds in yellow, blue and white colors. It was the first company to produce gem-quality blue and white diamonds, as well as the first to bring a quantifiable yellow diamond to market.

D.NEA was rebranded from Adia Diamonds in early 2008 to put a stronger emphasis on jewelry. D.NEA features private-label designs as well as designer brands such as Jane Taylor, Steven Kretchmer Designs, and Ritani.

Their diamonds are created using high pressure, high temperature technology as opposed to mined diamonds.

Each diamond is grown one at a time under strict conditions in a laboratory in Europe[1]. Once it reaches its intended size, it is cut in Antwerp, Belgium.

One of their main selling points is that the diamonds are environmentally friendly and conflict free. Furthermore the company states that each diamond is still unique, just like mined diamonds, because it's impossible to create the same growth conditions again.
