Wardington is a village in
Oxfordshire , five miles from centralBanbury .The village consists of Lower Wardington and Upper Wardington, and the parish borders
Northamptonshire . The population is around 550.There is an early English church in the village and two pubs, the "Hare and Hounds" and the "Plough". There is a nursing home in Lower Wardington called
Wardington House Nursing Home . The Wardington Church of England Primary School, which was located near the church, closed in 1991 and has since been redeveloped into residential property.
