LINK is a shared interbank ATM network operating in the United Kingdom. The Network counts 51 member institutions, of which 38 are various banks and building societies issuing LINK ATM cards. The network connects 60,000 ATMs - virtually every ATM in the United Kingdom.

The LINK network infrastructure is operated by VocaLink, a new company formed in 2007 by the merger of LINK Interchange Network Limited and Voca. The LINK ATM scheme is a separate entity which is owned (in part) by the scheme members.

In addition to providing the core ATM transaction switching and settlement service to its ATM network members, VocaLink Limited provides outsourced ATM, card & mobile payment solutions and provides access to Post Office counters for basic banking transactions.

LINK has also delivered a prepay Mobile Phone Top Up facility that is now live at over 26,000 ATMs, a Mobile Banking application developed with Morse plc (MONILINK - [http://www.monilink.co.uk] ) and is developing the Faster Payments Service that has launched in the UK in 2008 [APACS, [http://www.apacs.org.uk/08_02_27.html Banking industry update on new Faster Payments Service] , February, 2008] .
