Night of the Demon " and "The Avengers". She was also a regular cast member in screen adaptations ofCharles Dickens novels.She continued making appearances well into the 1980s, memorably as a guest of
Terry Wogan in his eponymous chat show.Athene Seyler was President of
RADA (1950), and of the Theatrical Ladies Guild [http://www.ttg.org.uk/history.htm (now the Theatrical Guild)] . She was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1959.Selected stage performances
