James' career with the Marquette University Golden Eagles men's basketball team was thought to have ended a few weeks prematurely when he broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot during the Golden Eagles' loss to Connecticut on February 25, 2009.[1] However on March 21, the eve of the second round game, Marquette announced James was cleared to play again. The 5"11 175 pound point guard averaged 14.9 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game in 2006-2007.He currently plays for Aris B.C..

College career
In 2005-06, James was one of three Marquette players to start every game of the season, while being named Big East Rookie of the Year honors, in addition to numerous other awards. James topped his previous career-high 28 points with a team leading 29 points at DePaul University on January 17, 2006. James notched his first double-double of the season at the University of Louisville on March 1, 2006, with 16 points and a team leading 11 rebounds.
On March 3, 2007, James tallied a career high 10 assists while missing eight minutes due to cramps in the Golden Eagles' victory over 12th ranked Pittsburgh. After the 2007 season, James entered the 2007 NBA Draft but withdrew on June 17.[2]
His college career was thought to be finished on February 25, 2009 when he broke a bone in his left foot in a 93-82 loss to the Connecticut Huskies. However, James was cleared to play in the Golden Eagles' second round matchup against Missouri late on the eve of the game.[3]
Professional career
James went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, but was invited to play for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2009 Las Vegas Summer League. However, James suffered an injury while practicing with the team prior to the start of the Summer League and was consequently removed from the roster. James was later invited to participate in the Bucks' training camp. A little over a week into training camp, James was released after receiving an offer from Turkish club Mersin BB. In October 2011 he signed with Aris B.C. in Greece.[4]
Personal
James was born in Richmond, Indiana to Angela James and Greg Wright and has two brothers: Germayne, who played college basketball at Lakeland College in Wisconsin, and Donovan as well as two sisters, Alexis and Shantae. His academic major is public relations. Has a daughter named Nene.
