Yarnton

Yarnton

Yarnton is a village and civil parish in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire on the A44 road.

The village is home to Yarnton Nurseries Garden Centre, which is one of the largest in the area. As of 2006 the garden centre was in dispute with the council over a large number of buildings which it has constructed with an apparent disregard of planning law.

In 2007 the village hosted the Festinho festival, which raised money for Brazilian children.

Yarnton Manor is the headquarters of the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
