William Madison Whittington
- William Madison Whittington
William Madison Whittington (b. 1878 d. August 20, 1962) was a Democratic politician from Mississippi. Whittington was a Representative to the 69th United States Congress in 1925, and the twelve succeeding Congresses. Whittington studied at Mississippi College until 1898 and the University of Mississippi in 1899 where he was a member of St. Anthony Hall, also known as the Delta Psi fraternity. Whittington served on the Flood Control and Public Works Committees, and was not a candidate for reelection in 1950. He died on August 20, 1962 in Greenwood, Mississippi.
