This hunting preserve in the region of
Piura ,provinces ofSullana andTalara was establishedJuly 1 ,1975 through law. It has an area of 650 square kilometres.The preserve is a natural area of big beauty with
dry forest s of the Peruvian northwest, for which a big area is dedicated to the conservation of theecosystem .The park contains 17 types ofmammal s, 150 ofbird s, 13 ofreptile s and 10 offish es.It offers opportunities for sports
hunting ,ecotourism andhiking through the practically virgin environment withfauna andflora typical to the region.Flora
